4 Local horse trainers have been selected to break and train a well-bred 2-yr. old.They will have 60 days in which to do this. At the Expo they will each have 1 hr a day for further training and to show the public their training styles and abilities.The spectators will, then, have an opportunity to vote for the trainer who they think did the best job.The trainers selected this year are:Dusty MorrisShamus HawsTammy MitchellMarty SimperAt the end of the Expo each 2-yr old will be auctioned off.

Reading Associated Press stating the vote is in for Utah horse trainer won the title of best trainer in the state, Marty Simper.Marty Simper, 30, competed against three other contestants. Maryt Simper, of Farr West, won $5,000 cash prize and other items including saddles and horse accessories.Information from: The Salt Lake Tribune, http://www.sltrib.com/Tammy did a great job and YEEHAAA Congrats all of her hard work, dedication and compassion for her 2 year old. Both horse and trainer had fun giving their all in the arena. A bond that will last a life time.
